The National Health Organization(ONA) credits the Cancer Hospital with a Level 1 for Quality in Health.

The hospital puts the third Tumor Bank in Brazil into operation.

The third Mobile Unit is launched: a well-equipped truck ready to carry out prostate, skin and cervical exams throughout the population of São Paulo, Rondônia, Tocantins, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and Minas Gerais.
